2/22/2026 - Practicum Students Matched for Internship!
We are incredibly proud to share some wonderful news from The Thought Loft.
Our practicum students, Jessica Woodatt and Jefferson Arcania, have both successfully matched to APA-accredited doctoral psychology internships this year.
The internship match process is one of the most competitive milestones in a psychologist’s training. This year, only about 80% of applicants from APA-accredited PhD programs matched nationwide, making this accomplishment especially meaningful.
Jefferson Arcania matched at Aurora Mental Health & Recovery in Aurora, Colorado, where he will continue developing his clinical skills in a large community mental health system serving diverse populations.
Jessica Woodatt matched at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire, where she will receive advanced training within a university counseling and training environment.
Both Jefferson and Jessie have been dedicated clinicians and valued members of our community. They have worked closely with clients, contributed to our clinical culture, and invested deeply in their professional growth. Their success reflects not only their talent and persistence, but also their genuine care for the people they serve.
We will miss them tremendously, and we could not be prouder of the psychologists they are becoming.
Congratulations Jessica and Jefferson! We are so proud of you!
