Headshot of Navy who offers therapy and Reiki in Las Vegas Nevada

Navy is a compassionate, trauma-informed psychotherapist with over three years of experience as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Nevada. She specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and families through trauma, anxiety, grief, identity exploration, and relational challenges using a client-centered, holistic, and culturally responsive approach.

Originally from Punjab, India, Navy brings a rich understanding of cultural diversity, having lived and worked across both collectivistic and individualistic societies. Her work is deeply informed by the belief that healing begins from within—that our experiences, emotions, and patterns arise from our inner world rather than external circumstances. She helps clients reconnect with that inner wisdom to foster true, lasting change.

Her therapeutic approach integrates systemic and evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Strategic Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Experiential Therapy. She collaborates with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their values, identities, and life goals.

Navy is certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy through the Boulder Institute of Hypnotherapy and trained in Integrative Parts Work and EMDR for Complex PTSD by Dr. Arielle Schwartz. A Level II Reiki practitioner and holder of a Graduate Teaching Certificate from UNLV, she incorporates mind-body practices such as breathwork, guided visualization, ego-state work, and somatic healing to support trauma integration and nervous system regulation.

She has worked in diverse settings, including Project FOCUS at UNLV, where she supported neurodivergent teens with emotional regulation, academic engagement, and social development. She has co-facilitated grief counseling workshops and provided clinical hypnotherapy for clients healing from childhood trauma, PTSD, and anxiety.

As a psychotherapist, Navy holds the belief that healing begins from within—that our experiences are shaped internally rather than externally. She honors the inner world of each client, helping them access their own insight, resilience, and capacity for transformation. Her approach fosters empowerment by inviting clients to turn inward and reconnect with their authentic self.

Fluent in Punjabi and Hindi, Navy also values language and cultural connection. She has volunteered at a Sikh temple in Las Vegas, teaching Punjabi alphabets to children ages 3 to 5—an experience that deepened her appreciation for early education and community service.

Outside of her clinical work, Navy enjoys practicing Kundalini yoga, meditation, and breathwork. She finds clarity and focus through vinyasa yoga in heated rooms and enjoys Pilates as a grounding movement practice. In her free time, she loves discovering new restaurants and sharing meaningful moments with her husband—embracing joy, balance, and connection in daily life.
